Hey Everyone!
For my first few blog posts I thought I would tell you what I have been up to recently. Just before starting this blog I had been away to a few different places and I thought I would tell you all about them. My first trip away was to Ireland, which is where my mum is from. While I was there I went to a 4 different places which were Dublin, Donegal, Galway and Cork.
Dublin
Round 1 was in Dublin and I stayed in an apartment in the Italian quarter of the city centre, which is just opposite Temple Bar. The location was amazing as it was just opposite Temple Bar and near the millennium bridge. I stayed there for 3 nights and while I was there I went shopping on Grafton Street, visited Kilmainham jail and spent a little bit of time over in Temple Bar. I love the pub scene in Ireland as they all have live music in them. You don't have any of that here in the UK.
Donegal
This was the first family part of the trip and was a lot quieter than Dublin. I was there 2 nights and while I was there I visited my mums cousin and aunt. Apart from visiting family I didn't do anything as there wasn't anything to do as the place where I was staying was quite quiet and small.
Galway
For round 3 I was in the city centre for 3 nights again. Galway city centre was surprisingly small, especially compared to London! I did a lot of shopping whilst in Galway and I brought a new pair of jeans which I love and have worn a lot since I've brought them! I also brought two new pairs of leggings in Dunnes Stores. Whilst there I also visited my mums uncle, aunt and cousin and had dinner round there house. It was also my mums cousins daughter's 13th birthday so we brought her a couple of presents. We also visited a few of the pubs as well.
Cork
Cork was the fourth and final round of the road trip. Cork is the part of Ireland where my mum is from and we stayed in an apartment in a small seaside town called Kinsale which is where I usually stay. There I went on a boat cruise and chilled out a bit. Also, as the weather was especially nice one day we went down to the beach for a bit.
After Cork it was time to fly home to London. I loved every single second of the trip and would do it all again. Although I do love my home and did miss my own bed and my cat, Tia. I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you what to see on here in the comments below or on twitter, instagram or snapchat.
See you soon!
